Douglas Simmons is a transformational leader within the Technology Organization with Cox Communications in Atlanta, Georgia, a privately owned subsidiary of Cox Enterprises providing digital cable television, telecommunications and Home Automation services in the United States.
Mr. Simmons is also the Founder & President of One Child, Incorporated, a grass root, non profit 501 (c) (3) organization working with young African American males. He belongs to numerous organizations, including the Cox Communications Diversity & Inclusion Atlanta Chapter Council, National Association For Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), Toastmaster, of which he is a past President of COX Mansell, PMI Atlanta Chapter, The National Urban League and a member of the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine. Mr. Simmons and his teams have won many awards over the years including The Cox Synergy Award.
