Shawna Khouri is the Managing Director of the Emory University and Georgia Institute of Technology Coulter Translational Fund. Through her work with the Coulter Program for Shawna provides business leadership and commercialization strategy to academic scientists, engineers, and clinicians across a broad range of healthcare arenas, including devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, and health IT. She is also a Business Analyst and mentor for C3i a commercialization training program for the National Institutes of Health. Shawna has also developed several medical devices with patents pending. She has both a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Innovation and Development and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
