Aurora Austriaco is a partner/shareholder at Valentine Austriaco and Bueschel PC, an all women-owned law firm. The firm practice areas include complex commercial litigation, business litigation, real estate and real estate litigation. Aurora is past President of the Chicago Bar Association and served on the board of the Chicago Bar Foundation, the Center for Conflict Resolution and was elected the first female and minority President of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers’ Association (IRELA) . She was a founding member of the Filipino American Bar Association. Aurora served as Commissioner for the Cook County Human Rights Commission; served as Commissioner for the Park Ridge Planning and Zoning Commission, and currently serves as Commissioner to the Illinois Courts Commission which is a gubernatorial appointment position. She was elected Illinois State Delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates and in April 2017, Aurora was elected to the Maine Township District 207 School Board which is four year term.
