Anqi Zou

Passionate about Data Science, Professional Development, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI), Anqi currently leads Talent Development for the Data & Analytics Community at Truist Bank.  As part of her job, Anqi directly manages talent programs focusing on data & analytics and innovation.  She also leads strategic university partnerships for the Data & Analytics organizations at Truist, supports Learning & Development for 2,000+ teammates, and hosts an internal forum focusing on innovation and best practice sharing.  Prior to her current role, Anqi had a career in Quantitative Analytics at Wells Fargo and Bank of America, across Corporate Treasury, Corporate Investments, and Risk Management.

Anqi currently serves as the Business Strategy Advisor for CAN (Capabilities Action Network) BRG – Georgia Chapter at Truist with a focus on enabling more accessible and equable workforce opportunities using Technology.  She is a member of all eight BRGs at Truist.

Outside of work, Anqi is an active volunteer in her community. She currently serves as a board member for NAAAP Atlanta since 2019, advocates for Diversity in Tech and Data Science for Social Good, and is a member of the LEAD Atlanta (young professional version of Leadership Atlanta) Class of 2022 candidate.

Anqi graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with an M.S. in Computational Science & Engineering and obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University, double majored in Mathematical Business and Computer Science.  She enjoys cooking and hosting potlucks where guests from all walks of life celebrate their similarities and differences over food.
