Angie has interviewed executives from Slack, Coinbase, 88rising, Doordash and Bain Capital Ventures, to break the one-dimensional tropes and stereotypes that often nuance Asian American experiences. Her life’s career has set her on a journey to understand how the experience and perspectives of those she’s encountered coexist within her own identity as a first-generation Asian American immigrant.

Lucia Liu is an entrepreneur, podcast host, Angel investor, a business strategy expert, and mentor for women in Business Development (BD). She is the Founder & CEO of Rock the Boat, a podcast and community organization focused on Asian American leaders who challenge the status quo where she has interviewed prominent guests such as Andrew Yang, Michelle Phan, and Kevin Lin (Cofounder of Twitch and Gold House). Lucia works in BD at American Express Digital Labs, leads the CXO network at Moralis Capital, and is an active LP in Hyphen, the Angel group funding Asian American founders. Prior to starting Rock The Boat, Lucia was Chief of Staff and VP of Business Development at two Series A startups. For the past three years Lucia has been on the Advisory Board for Women in BDat Firneo, a community for experts in the industry. In her former life, she was a chocolatier for her own Chocolate brand: Lululosophy.

Yin Lin is an entrepreneur and co-founder of SheWorx and Zoran Medical. Featured in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Fortune, SheWorx has been recognized as the leading female entrepreneur event series with curated dynamic roundtables and summits providing women with access to top mentors and investors. During the pandemic, she co-founded Zoran Medical to deliver over 300 million units of personal protective equipment to frontline workers. Yin has been recognized by Inc. as one of “17 Inspiring Women to Watch” and by CIO as one of the “Top 20 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch.” She speaks often about entrepreneurship at institutions including the United Nations, SAP, NYU, Branch College, and many technology accelerators. Yin is currently Managing Partner at 64 Squares Strategy Group and is the head of business and partnership development for their cannabis licensing practice. She serves as the associate board chair for Teach for America and as an NY Council member for Vital Voices.

Carmen Zheng currently serves as the VP of Marketing for NAAAP NY and has been an active member since 2018. She is an Associate at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where she covers strategy and business development. At Morgan Stanley Carmen advocates for women and diversity as a member of Morgan Stanley’s Women in Wealth and Investment Solutions Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Carmen worked in real estate private equity while pursuing her Masters in Strategic Communication from Columbia University. Carmen holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley where she was awarded both the Eugene Jarvis Media Innovation Scholarship and the Fiat Lux Scholarship. She enjoys volunteering for organizations that promote financial literacy for underprivileged students.

Susan Im is a strategic business advisor, professional diversity coach, public speaker, and founder of SIM Collaborations where she helps clients build inclusive climates where everyone can contribute and realize their full potential. She is also a Senior Director of Human Resources Business Partnerships at Caleres, Inc. Prior to this role, she had over 25 years of experience in retail building successful brands and high performing teams. While at Macy’s, she helped launch the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and sponsored the Asian American ERG for 9 years. Susan earned her Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell in 2020 and is a Certified Professional Diversity Coach. Committed to giving back and supporting the next generation of leaders, Susan is a mentor and advisor to several nonprofit organizations including APIA and the TwoTen Foundation. Susan currently sits on the Board of Directors for NAAAP NY.
