NAAAP Annual Leadership Convention is MOVING FWD Virtually this Summer

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

As we have just closed out one of the most challenging, but still hopeful Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Months, NAAAP is collectively MOVING FWD.

NAAAP is pleased to announce its annual NAAAP, National Leadership Convention, a virtual event, which will commence August 2021 every Friday on the 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th from 12 p.m.-4 p.m. EDT/9 a.m. – 1 p.m. PDT. The Convention will feature six virtual summits that will include pre-recorded video and live sessions of API leaders from private, public, and non-profit sectors.

Each Friday, there will be different themed tracks including the following: Career Fair & Development, Employee Resource Group (ERG) strategy, Asian Pacific Islander (API) community, Federal API resources, API Women’s resources and the Leadership Summit/ NAAAP Awards closing.

The month-long event will kick off with a FREE Career Fair and Development Day virtual event, RSVP-only tickets sold separately. This is a public event open to all regardless of NAAAP membership or cultural background. Join us for some info-packed workshops from job search strategy to ace the interview, led by our community experts.

All tickets will provide you access to all four days of the convention (including the Career Fair & Development ONLY ticket). Promo codes are available for NAAAP members, partners, and college students.

It is time for us to come together; to collect, connect, and collaborate as a community; it is time we begin MOVING FWD. We have all experienced many, very personal and professional challenges in the recent year, from the pandemic to the #stopasianhate crimes, but as a resilient community, we will persist, we will continue to make progress, and we are MOVING FWD.

MOVE FWD with us at the Virtual NAAAP Leadership Convention as we create opportunities to network, learn, and share in a virtual environment throughout the month of August 2021.
