Kurtis Yang is a senior director of customer experience at Cisco. His team is responsible for experience research, insights analytics and design thinking to enable the business to create exceptional experiences for Cisco’s customers and partners.
Kurtis has been at Cisco for over 20 years in various leadership roles including technical support, supply chain and business operations in Asia-Pacific as well as business intelligence and sales operations here in the Americas.
Kurtis is a passionate advocate of inclusion and diversity. He’s the global lead of Cisco’s Connected Asian Affinity Network (CAAN) employee resource group and was the inaugural recipient of the Leadership Excellence award from Cisco’s Office of Inclusion and Collaboration. CAAN is recognized as one of the top ERGs at Cisco, with membership growing by 60%+ in the last 3 years, it’s also led numerous giving back initiatives, particularly to support Asian communities both domestically and internationally, resulting in over $100,000 in donations, mobilizing 3000+ people to organize and volunteer their time. Their 3 top priorities is for the advancement and advocacy of Pan-Asian employees, to fight social injustice through education, allyship and action and to continue making a difference in the world through give back.
