Rose Olea

Rose is a highly motivated and versatile development consultant for several not-for-profit organizations in the United States. She brings over 20 years of work experience in a variety of industries and has raised over one million dollars in funding for her clients. 

Rose currently serves as the Chicago President of the National Association of Asian American Professionals, or NAAAP-Chicago, an Asian American leadership organization in the Chicago-land area. NAAAP-Chicago is the third oldest chapter of the national organization, which includes over 30 cities across the United States and Canada. She is the longest running President for the Chicago Chapter, the first female elected National President (2006), and the first female elected National Board Chair (2013).  

Rose established successful programs such as Asian American Group Leaders, a collaborative program that has brought together over 40 Asian Employee/Business Resource Groups in the Chicagoland area. As well as a Women’s Leadership Program now recognized at the national level as Women in NAAAP. 

Rose was recognized in 2012 for her contributions to the Asian Community by the National Federation of Filipino American Association’s Circle of Empowered Women in the Midwest and received the Filipino American Hall of Fame Award in 2017.
