    3:15pm – 4:00pm ET Lack of API Education & Model Minority Myth The Model Minority Myth perpetuates the illusion that API students are monolithically exceptional, pits students of color against one another, and distracts from the achievement gap, especially amongst southeast and pacific islander students. In this workshop, we will discuss how we can work together to dispel the Model Minority Myth, push for more API educators, and advocate for academic support.
